Indian National Congress Party at my hotel today
Mr Sudevan, a lovely man who is the Production Manager of Service, who conducts all the goings-on in room service, restaurant, and conference bookings, kindly asked the only woman member of the Congress Party that was present, if I could take a photo of her with her fellow politicians. They are the ruling political party and happened to be holding some kind of all day function at the hotel.
Must admit I was a bit chuffed. Not that I admire politicians per se. Just that the equivalent would be mingling and rubbing shoulders with the tories - heavens forbid. That is a revolting thought. No, it was the novelty of being able to just take a photo. They are far more relaxed and human than our lot. Supposin' I was a Chinese suicide bomber or sumfink ... ?
The frustrating thing is that I now discover that I have to buy a special kit to connect my Panasonic Lumix to this feckin' iPad2.
iThink Apple are a bunch of wankers. Money-spinning tosh.
