Shiva birthday rave finally ends. Phew.

On either side of my room, there are some very drained looking men. I guess the girls and princesses are having their Kollywood beauty sleep.

I might be coming across as a bit of hypocrite. I've attended my fair share of raves. Just that I don't want to sleep next to one when I have "could be" pneumonia.

Good news 1: I feel better today. I think I'm in love in antihistamines. Despite the  banging nightmare rave thuds all night long - I managed to have some quality sleep. And my ankles aren't swollen. Lovely Anita from Muenchen explained that was water retention. And she said that I looked a lot better this morning. Apparently I had been looking more leached each day.

Good news 2: Went to hospital to take them my morning sputum sample. Nice. And they had my blood test results. Now I have to take those to Doctor Roshna Ramanchammalammabingbong - sorry, I haven't my notebook with me right now - and am not exiting this page in case it loses what I've typed. I'm not being disrespectful to Dr Roshna Ram - honestly, I'm not.

Good news 3: It's really breezy today. Hence making it less sticky and unbearably hot.

Bye for now.

p.s. my use of NEVERMIND isn't because I don't know it ought to be two words. It's cos it's some kind of homage ot Nirvana. I belatedly got into that album when returning from a 7 week stint in Thailand back in 1992. Kurt Cobain died shortly after-ish, I believe. I remember being at City University, and all the kids (Thatcher's kids, might I add), fresh out of home and mummy's umbilical cord - well, there was such a buzz among them. Doom, gloom and disbelief about Kurt Cobain dying. Yes? And? thought I. Fucking boring that was. Now had I been of the age when Jimi Hendrix was doing his twangy thang - now that would have been different.

p.p.s. Besides, when you lose your own mother at the age of 19 - which was, come to think of it, how old these kids were at the time of the death of their Seattle hero ... oh, Nevermind ... just never mind.
